Experience

I have more than five years of teaching experience in martial arts and dance. I have worked as a tutor for all age groups of children and adults. I tutor an assortment of subjects; however, my favorites are Spanish and math because I love languages and numbers. I believe learning is a process that continues throughout life. I understand that students become frustrated in their heavy course loads and difficult concepts because I am also a student. My goal is to alleviate some of the frustration that students are experiencing. I want to instill a passion for learning in my students by providing a positive learning environment. I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor that will lead students by example. I am a current student at the University of Maryland, where I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Finance, with a minor in Mathematics. Some of my interests are dance, guitar, martial arts, and volleyball.
