Bonjour, My name is Elodie, and I am a native French Speaker. I am originally from France and now living in Germantown – MD. I have been giving French lessons to children, teenagers, and adults since I moved to the United States in 2009. I would like to tutor students at any level in French skills including grammar, reading, speaking, writing, pronunciation, and composition. I am a patient, responsible, enthusiastic, adaptable, trustworthy, and creative tutor. I use effective lesson plans and appropriate material with practical methods based on the student’s level and learning expectations. I teach students of all ages and levels. I find activities and make my lessons useful and fun to get my students interested, motivated and confident. For instance, my lesson plans for younger students include playing word games, storytelling, singing songs, and watching French academic videos. Furthermore, my lesson plans for older students include conversational practices, reading and writing exercises, and academic discussions. These activities allow students to learn vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. Ultimately, students will learn and improve their reading, speaking, and writing skills in French.
