After obtaining my B.A. in Biology with a Neuroscience concentration at Johns Hopkins University, I started to pursue my MD in hopes of someday becoming a surgeon. I am currently a medical student at the University of Maryland for their School of Medicine, and I rank within the top ten percent of my current class. I have special techniques that allow me to up my score for the writing portion of the SAT.My current areas of expertise include Organic Chemistry, Chemistry, and Biology. I also have many strengths in the areas of SAT reading and writing. Part of my expertise is a direct result of the time I spent as a teaching assistant for my chemistry lab class while attending Johns Hopkins University. In order to receive that position, I had to prove that I could teach, that I am responsible, and that I have a mastery of the concepts of chemistry. I have helped my students in a way that allows them to see the bigger picture through teaching them to see the way I think and how I arrive at my answers.With my free time, I enjoy reading, acrylic and oil painting, and neuroscience and neurobiology research.
